One of the first things we notice when we look at both images is that they both contain mountains. In Fine Wind, Clear Morning by Katsushika Hokusai, the mountain is prominent and eye-catching, while in Keyumers and his soliders wearing tiger skins by Seyyid Lokman, it is used only as a background. While Visual A is more concerned with the balance in the landscape and nature, for example the dimensional balance of the clouds in the painting, their alignment, and their relationship to each other, Visual B is concerned with the people and the plot between them. To illustrate, although, it is not stated, we can say that Keyumers has a leader and soldiers who listen to her, the people sitting have higher status and perhaps they make the real decisions. Going back to the first image, we notice that more elements are used below than above, and gradually decrease from bottom to top with each layer. However, in the second image, people are lined up from back to front, showing how they are classified in society, who they stand behind, and who they serve.
